Nike Run Hit Remix

This weekend another run over by the LA Coliseum for the Nike Run Hit Remix was so much fun. We rolled about 10 deep for this event and was able to run with music playing in the background first by Shaking our Love with Deborah Gibson, then we bust a moved with Young MC, next heard Vanilla Ice talking about sexing up some people, then Coolio looked like he was high, Digital Underground was playing some funky beats and ended the race at the LA Coliseum with De La Soul. Thanks again for fun times, an awesome group of friends to run with. The only sucky thing is getting $1 gift cards to Jamba Juice, wished it was at least enough for 1 smoothie. It's hump day and can't wait til the weekends hits.

Softball Season 2 baby is underway!

Disneyland 1/2 Marathon completed...

This past Sunday a group of us celebrated Shewin's birthday bash over at the Disneyland Resort running in the 13.1 miles around Anaheim. Boy was I excited to run this marathon because I was going to see all these places that I have wanted to see all in one day. We ran to Disneyland (my first time inside the park since 1997), California Adventure (my first time ever setting foot into the park), Arrowhead Pond (passed by where the Ducks play), Angels Stadium (first time stepping foot on the field). It was truely a memorable experience and I was just happy to complete the race. What made my day was when the crowd would cheer us on and kept supporting us at different parts of the race. This gave me motivation to move on and kept me going, thanks ya'll.

Congratulations to all in completing the Disneyland 1/2 marathon, I'm sure we all felt sore the next day, I know I was hurting. Let's do this again next year, I'm sooo down!

Finally getting some help...

This week one of the new guys, Devon, has been hanging out with me and learning what we do on a normal work day. Training him is fun because I get to share my knowledge about what we do and he seems to be enjoying the new job. I'm glad because now he can handle the Riverside/San Bernadino area while I stick with the LA/OC area. Then there's the other dude, Kevin, I haven't met him yet, but should be training him sometime next week. Yup, we hired Kevin and Devon, kind of funny because they rhyme. I'm just hoping these guys can hang and handle all the driving that we do.

2006 Labor Day Weekend!!

This is one of the best weekends I will never forget. We also celebrated this Labor day weekend Lou's birthday. The weekend started off with a nice marathon training run on Saturday followed by lunch at Denny's. The next day we had some skydiving action over in San Diego (link), where I conquered my fear of heights by doing this 13,000-ft jump. The feeling of freefalling down from the sky was amazing. I never would have thought that this was something I would ever do, but I wanted to get this over with and experience something new. I can't wait to do this again and hopefully get a lot more people to do the jump. Monday, was a chill day ate lunch at a Seafood restaurant at the Seaport Village, then grabbed some dessert over at Extraordinary Desserts where I tried the Banana Split Ice Cream with some fruit.

San Diego was a nice place to visit, chill atmosphere and had awesome scenery. I would like to visit the city again and check out the many different restaurants around the area. Thanks again to all for a wonderful weekend and also Happy Birthday to Lou. I hope you had an awesome weekend, I know I did!
