States Visited...
Pretty cool showing which states you've visited... So far, I've visited about a little more than half of the U.S. My goal will try to visit the next 24... Who's down for a road trip?

Wow, July has been a really busy month for me especially when it comes to work. I've been driving to the counties of Ventura, San Bernadino, Riverside, Orange and Los Angeles in the past two weeks. I think I've hit most of Southern California's counties except for a few down in the south, San Diego and Imperial. What sucks is the weather hasn't been cooperating lately being so humid and hot. While I was up at La Quinta last Friday, within 5 seconds coming out of my car I felt like lechon walking to the entrance of the dental office. I've also been hitting up the gas stations alot where my fill ups are about $75 for a full tank, luckily work covers that during my office visists. Being so busy makes my work week fly by and makes it for a more enjoyable weekend to relax and hang out.
The past weekends in July have been fun, first weekend was the surprise birthday for Mr. Jovan and then the following weekend went to the engagement party for Jay and Cicely. I would like to thank everyone for the enjoyable weekends and another thanks for work making my weeks go by so quickly. I'm counting down 2 days until the 3rd weekend in July, what's going on? All I know is that I want to hit up the beach this weekend and catch some waves. Beach Day anyone?
Yesterday, while I was working at this office, a nice old lady approached me and kindly asked, "Are you from around here? You look a mix between an Oriental and Mexican." I replied back with a smile, "No ma'am, my heritage is Filipino. From the Philippine Islands." She replied back, "Is that near Mexico, because I've never been there?" My jaw dropped after hearing that last sentence and I was kind of shock from hearing that. She probably didn't know much about the Asian/Pacific Islander people so I told her, "No, it's in Asia, beneath Japan and Taiwan."Then she said, "Oh wow a new country that I can learn about." That made my day because she was so eager to learn something new even at her age, she must've been in her 80's.
Yeah, I haven't been on this blog thing for a while. Been preoccupied with work and so much stuff to do in June then bam, it's July... The first week of July went by pretty fast. I started the month off going to a birthday party for Chris' son. It was a nice day to hit the park in Carson because the weather was sunny and not too hot. Oh yeah, we got to make some cotton candy at the end, I haven't had those in a long time.
Sunday, was a perfect day to watch the Angels/Dodgers game. Thanks for awesome suite tickets Joes. Fortunately, my Angels pulled off the win with a 4-0 victory. The Angels, although being last in the AL West, are starting to do some damage to finish off the 1st half of the 2006 season.

The next day, we hit up Huntington Beach to bodyboard and catch some waves. That day the water was nice, not the usual freezing water that requires a spring suit. Waves were decent and I caught a bunch of waves. Maybe this summer we'll hit the beach more. Call me up, because I'm down to some waves.
July 4th was first spent at home bbqing and watching some World Cup Soccer. Later on the day I went over to Jovan's to hang out. We played some Guitar Hero, ate more bbq, and played some poker. Guitar Hero is a pretty fun game where you get to jam like a rockstar hitting buttons on the guitar controller pad. I need to practice some more because my coordination is lacking.

Now, it's the weekend, time to rest up and relax. To start off the weekend, I picked up a new book, "Deception Point" by Dan Brown. I loved reading "Angels & Demons" and "The Da Vinci Code" so much that I picked up another one of his novels. Brown slyly keeps you attached to his novels for the sake of not missing anything that comes. Also, I plan to watch the final outcome of World Cup Soccer. I'm hoping for a good match between Italy and France. There is also a new movie, the sequel to Pirates of the Carribean. Damn, so many things I want to do and the weekend is always so short. Fudge, are there any jobs out there that has a 4-day weekend and 3-day work week? Let me know, I'm ready to apply.
