Palm Desert

Today, I had to drive all the way to Palm Desert to fix some computer and networking issues. The drive there wasn't too bad. I ddin't have to deal with traffic since, I left OC before noon. As I passed by Morongo, I was tempted to make a little pit stop, but knew I had to go to a client's office. Then looking at my directions, I had like 36 more miles to go. I didn't expect this place to be far, but dang, the later just dragged.

Arriving at the office, I was greeted with one of the prettiest receptionists I've ever seen. Actually everyone in the office looked awesome! Ok, my drive wasn't that bad, I was able to help them out with whatever needed to be fixed, mainly their network issues.

My 4 hours over in Palm Desert was pretty nice, but sucked when I had to drive back home. I already passed Morongo, so I didn't feel like turning back just to play some games. Luckily, I didn't go back because I knew I wouldn't make it in time for LOST. Well, that was my day at work. Palm Desert is pretty nice!

Busy @ Work

Dang, the past couple weeks have been really busy for me. Since I got back from Atlanta, I've been playing catch up with the clients I had to visit or schedule some maintenance. Also, after a week of fighting a cold, it's good to say that I'm back to 100%. I'm starting to like the cooler nights that the Fall season has brought. The best part is that my favorite shows have started, LOST and Grey's Anatomy. If you haven't seen them yet, you're missing out. LOST is one of the best shows out there. They have Season 1 of LOST on DVD, so get it at the local entertainment store. Alright, I gotta get back to finishing up my paperwork for work. I hope everyone is doing well. Don't forget to Keep It Bengin!

GO ANGELS!!

note: softball players, practice on Sunday.

Major League Softball

In a couple weeks our first season of Major League Softball will begin. I'm glad to have a lot of interest and hopefully it will be a great learning experience as well as a way to play competitive sports. If anyone is free to watch our games, we usually play Saturday afternoons. Right now, we have practice Saturday mornings and if anyone is interested in scrimmaging, feel free to join in and give me a call so we can tell you where we're playing at. Thanks to everyone for joining our Shockers team.

If anyone knows how to make a team logo for shirts, please let me know. Thanks again, let's get crazy team Shockers!

Welcome To ATLANTA...

So far the only thing I had a problem with was the time change. Since I lose 3 hours, my sleeping pattern has been out of whack. Weather is pretty cool, just a little humid, but staying indoors is what I have been doing. I wanted to walk around the city, but the hotel guys said it wouldn't be the best time to go downtown. Training day 1 has been pretty long. It's like going back to school again because we're sitting there through the lecture and I'm always trying to stay awake. The reason I'm here in Atlanta is because getting certified for products that we'll be selling to our clients. Tonight, I ate at a seafood sports bar called Barnacle's Seafood Oysters. I had the combo platter which had a variety of scallops, clams and calamari. They hooked it up with the seafood and piled it all over my plate. Alright, it's time for Monday Night Football. It's crazy that the stadium is like 10 minutes away from my hotel. Oh well, maybe next time I'll catch a game.
