Happy Holidays

What an awesome way to start off Thanksgiving weekend... Thanks to Joe and Cat for suggesting Shin-Sen-Gumi in Fountain Valley. It reminded me so much of Japan and the Yakitori was amazing. Good times with good friends when Sake and Biru is involved. Joesan, Karen, Lou, Belle, Tommy, James and Ana joined in the festivities that night. We should do Yakitori again!

Thanksgiving was a blast this year. Spending time with my family in Carson was just what I needed to start off the holidays. Oh, it's so crazy how my (little) cousins are now in high school or college. They have grown up so fast and it makes me feel so old seeing them grow up like that. Another reminder of my old age was getting my Class of 97 High School reunion reminder in the mail. Dang, I can't believe it's almost 10 years since I've graduated high school. Just shows how time flies so quickly when we're having fun. Then just around the corner is the big 3-0, oh man I don't want to think about that just yet. Nevertheless, I'm still thankful for everything and everyone that has been a part of my life. One wish I would like to have would be 4 day weekends and 3 day work weeks. If I could have that, then I would be a happy camper!

Now that the holiday shopping has officially begun, I haven't bought a gift for anyone yet. This past weekend I only spent money on myself getting a new digital camera (to replace the one that got stolen) and Xbox 360. I got some good deals, so it should be ok to spend on myself this time. I hope to start my Christmas shopping this weekend.

The best part of the Holiday season is once the weather turns cold, I have the best sleep at night. No more tossing and turning, just plain 7-8 hours of rest. The bad thing is that I don't want to wake up and get ready for the day, so I press the snooze button more than usual. Today I pressed the snooze button about 7-8 times which gave me an extra 35-40 minutes of staying in bed.
