Up Late @ Night

This past Monday I couldn't sleep. I tried watching tv to get sleepy, but to no avail it kept me awake. Then, I tried covering my eyes with my pillow, but still could not fall asleep. I tried looking at my alarm clock so that it would trick me in wanting to fall asleep, but the damn thing kept me awake. I don't know what it was that night, but I didn't have any reason to be excited for anything the next day. There was no trip or nor anything big going that day, it was just work. Then I tried looking at the stars up in my ceiling, but all I saw was a blur because my eyesight isn't that great. I tried sleeping in different positions, face down... didn't work, on my back side... didn't work, then on my side (my usual sleeping position, didn't work also. So I thought going outside in the cold would shock me and get me sleepy, that didn't work. When I got back in, I was wide awake and tried doing some pushups. This was when I started feeling fatigue. I just worked out a little bit and then when I was done doing a few sets, I checked the time and it was a quarter til 3. Damn, it was almost 3 am and I should be fast asleep. I drank a cup of water, then went back to my bed and finally I believe around 3 am, I fell asleep. I woke up to my alarm clock around 730am and I wasn't in a good mood. About 4 hours rest and a lot of driving ahead wasn't a good thing. I guess that's how it is sometimes. I hope to sleep earlier tonight and get at least 7 hours rest.
